We formed TRIA Recruitment in 2015, having worked in the recruitment industry for more years than we care to remember. We were all equally fed up with large company politics, target driven environments, lack of treating people like people, we could go on, but it’s a familiar story.
We believe that there is a demand for a staffing organisation that embraces modern recruitment practices and focuses solely on working with their clients to fill those specialist and hard to fill staffing requirements. And do you know what? It seems to have worked.
We welcome the fact that most large organisations are building their own in house recruitment capability and are using effective employer brand strategies to attract great talent. This means our clients only work with us when there is a genuine need for specialist staffing.
TRIA specialise in IT and Business Transformation staffing. We provide a full range of permanent and contract recruitment services and these include:
We work closely with our clients to understand their requirements, their culture and technology skills. We want to take the pain out of the recruitment process by delivering the best talent available for every role we work on.
We work with our customers to deliver a completely tailored and managed programme of staffing services. This may include onsite recruitment teams, supplier management or recruitment process auditing and outsourcing.
Whether this is a specific recruitment campaign, contractor reduction program or a retained executive search, we will work with our clients to share the risk of any defined project and of course share the rewards too.

Matt Louth has been a loyal customer of TRIA for over eight years. Indeed, as Matt has advanced in his own career in various blue-chip organisations, he has retained his relationship with TRIA.
We’ve built a pretty good team here at TRIA – even if we do say so ourselves. We have a common goal of doing a great job for our clients, but we’re allowed complete freedom in how we do it. We’re treated like adults and we respect that and enjoy the working environment that this modern approach to working creates.
Don’t get us wrong, it’s hard work and sometimes can be frustrating. But the support, fun and camaraderie makes it all worthwhile.
Not forgetting the rewards. We have a very generous commission scheme – that can be designed around your personal circumstances – and some amazing team days out and weekends away.
You spend a lot of time at work and at TRIA we want to make sure that you really enjoy that time. So if you’re fed up of a bell ringing, sales driven culture and want to experience a more grown up approach to work, come and talk to us.
Get in touch today to find out more about life at TRIA and confidentially discuss whether our team could be right for you.

Director
As a founding member and Director of TRIA, I am so proud of what we have built; walking into a full office every day makes me smile and I have to pinch myself when I think back to the early days when it was just the three of us in our tiny broom cupboard office! We have such a broad mix of people working here, but everyone is the true 'TRIA' type – it's hard to put my finger on what that is; but we all support each other, no-one is out for themselves, and everyone cares about doing a really good job for our clients and candidates. Plus they are really good fun to be around!
I love continuing to work with clients and contacts that I have known for years as we have built up really good relationships. On top of that of the three Director's I have been the one to keep the TRIA ship on the straight and narrow, anything 'back office' or process related is my department! Partly because I do actually enjoy it (maybe it's the mathematician in me?!), and partly because David and Lara definitely don't enjoy it!
Outside work, I am kept (very!) busy with 2 small children, Henry and Arabella.
Director
As a founding member and Director of TRIA, it's been fantastic to see the company grow from 3 people around a table in serviced offices to where we are now, every day feels special and I am proud of what we have achieved and even more excited about the future. I currently oversee the delivery arm of the company and still after all these years, like to maintain the hands on aspect in terms of searching for the niche skill sets and hard to find candidates (to show the "youngsters" I can still do it!).
My two favorite parts of the role are the client relationships, most of which I have worked with for 15 years and have recruited for them in various companies so really enjoy working them and knowing exactly what they want, recruitment is so much more then bums on seats, it's about relationships, hard work and understanding your client base. I also really enjoy seeing our consultants do well and taking pride in working for TRIA. We have such a collaborative approach and family feel which is something we are determined not to lose as we increase in size.
Any spare time is spent being a taxi service to my teenagers for their very important social lives but I also like and need to keep fit – spending time with my dogs and horses also keeps me busy!
Director
As a founding member and Director of TRIA, I have been lucky enough to establish a business with two of the most prolific, talented and successful recruiters in the industry. We set up TRIA with the ethos of relationships, hard work and offering a truly niche delivery focused service to the market, we aren’t here to reinvent the wheel but in a competitive and crowded market place it’s brilliant to see our reputation and brand grow, developing in line with our strategy. It’s been an amazing journey so far, from the initial concept around a dinner table to our launch in 2015 and to what we are today.
One of the things I really enjoy is the fact that no two days are the same in my role, from day to day operations, supplier management, building the team, delivering on roles and fetching the odd pint of milk. I really enjoy meeting clients and potential staff and discussing our industry and talking to anyone who will listen about TRIA, our values, vision and how people can be part of our future.
Outside of work I have my hands full with our 2 small children Henry and Arabella, and enjoy F1, struggling with the gym and trying out Bristol’s abundance of fantastic restaurants to counter the gym!!
Associate Director
I joined TRIA in the early days and I have seen a huge amounts of change whilst we have grown, from being part of the initial concept to what we have built to date. I really enjoy working alongside such a talented and knowledgeable team and am very excited about playing a lead and integral part of TRIA's future. I work across the business helping to grow and develop our team as well as nurturing and improving the relationships they have with their clients.
I currently manage a team of 3 consultants delivering into a large and diverse client base. I absolutely love the client facing nature of my role and enjoy really understanding what my clients are trying to achieve and how we at TRIA can work in partnership with them to accomplish their goals.
When I'm not in the office I can often be found travelling to the remote corners of the world on some bizarre challenge or expedition. Recent trips have included running an adventure marathon in Kruger National Park, climbing Kilimanjaro, Everest Base Camp and climbing Mont Blanc. Next up, Everest?!
Non-Executive Director
I’ve helped and advised Harriet, David And Lara from the very start of the TRIA journey. Whether that was the early planning stages, normally around the kitchen table, through to their first employee and their first, second and now third office. That’s three offices in under five years! The growth of the business has been very impressive, and the exciting thing for me is that it’s still very early in their development and there are lots more exciting plans just around the corner.
I started my career in Technology staffing, many years ago and was a board Director for one of the industry’s founding agencies – Computer People, before leaving to work with some colleagues to build a global staffing services business from scratch. I moved away from pure recruitment in the early 2000’s to follow my passion for marketing and branding and I started the South West arm of an employer marketing business – ThirtyThree. The business became a multi award winning agency and grew an enviable reputation for creativity, service and delivering results. We sold the business in 2015, and after three years as CEO, overseeing the handover of our business in UK, New York & Hong Kong to our new owners, I decided to step down from the business. I now advise a few high growth businesses alongside a running a small boutique consulting and creative agency – BrandPointZero.
When I’m not working, because bizarrely I’m remarkably busy, you can normally find me on a golf course, on my bike or on a pair of skis. And I’m always partial to good lunch with a glass of red. Or white. Or rose. Or a beer ...
Senior Consultant
In August 2016 I relocated to Bristol from London with my husband whom launched a craft beer distribution company for the South West and I was lucky enough to find TRIA who gave me the opportunity to join the team as a Consultant and continue to support some of the leading global retail organizations with their recruitment needs across IT and Digital.
My experience within Retail started as a Retail Manager in Harrods where I worked for 8 years and in Jan 2014 I took the plunge in to recruitment which I loved from day one. I get great satisfaction from delivering quality resource in to my clients and love working in a relationship driven and collaborative environment with a team of like-minded and talented individuals.
My time outside of TRIA revolves greatly around my friends and family and love for good wine!
Senior Consultant
I joined Tria in 2016 and work in the delivery team finding the best talent on the market for some of Tria’s biggest clients. The environment at Tria is really fast-paced which I love but I also like the variety of roles and clients to work on which keeps the role challenging and interesting.
I’ve been in IT Recruitment since 2001 and have never worked in such a collaborative, fun and positive environment where everyone helps each other and pulls together. We have a great team environment with a great mix of characters and I’ve really enjoyed the fun activities, away days and dinners out that we’ve been rewarded with.
The majority of my time away from Tria is taken up with looking after and trying to keep up with my two young sons but when I do have a night off I love a fun night out with friends.

I started at TRIA in March 2017 and work as part of Tristan's team, sourcing candidates for our major accounts. I am now looking to the future to start building a network of my own having brought on a new client in late 2018.
My favourite thing about working at TRIA is the wealth of industry knowledge which is shared throughout the office, because of the training and shared knowledge I'm able to build relationships with clients and candidates confidently across the board. In my spare time I enjoy watching movies, Snatch being a personal favourite of mine – however I spend way too much time watching Netflix's and eating takeout!
Consultant
I joined Tria at the start of 2017 working in Tristan’s team finding great candidates for our clients. I am now working towards gaining and managing my own clients and becoming an industry specialist in Data Science and UX recruitment.
My favourite part of working at Tria is our unique, relationship driven approach to recruitment that allows us to pitch at the top of the market and work with the most prestigious clients. In my spare time I like to keep fit and try the hundreds of restaurants Bristol has to offer.
Consultant
I joined TRIA in July 2019 after a short career break travelling the depths of South East Asia. Prior to having the privilege of motorbiking through some of the world’s greatest landscapes, I had started a career in HR working for one of the UK’s leading charities in my treasured home of sunny Cornwall. People and relationship building has always been my number one focus, so a future in recruitment was a no brainer for me and there’s no place better to do that than TRIA.
Out of the office, I’m a typical Cornishman. I live for sunny weekends where I can grab my surfboard, get in the water, have a good time with friends and follow it up with a pasty and a pint/s.
Senior Consultant
I joined TRIA Recruitment in November 2019 and am one of the newer members on the team. Having spent just over 4 year’s working for a competitor, I always kept a close eye on the amazing growth and success of TRIA and could no longer resist the move! Prior to this, I worked as a Senior Appointments Consultant in the Sports Industry. Aside from working with some of the top tier football teams, including Arsenal, Tottenham and Chelsea, I also worked closely with the London 2012 team to help them with their recruitment. Watching Bolt win the 100m final in hospitality was a particular highlight.
At TRIA, I have been brought in to work on some of the key accounts as well as growing my client base. I really enjoy building the relationship driven approach to recruitment that TRIA continue to succeed in, and providing a first class service to both clients and candidates which is extremely important to me. I am very excited to progress my career here alongside a very talented team. Outside of work, you will find me eating and drinking in one of the copious amount of outstanding restaurants and pubs that we have on offer in Bristol, watching live sport or walking my Cockapoo.
Financial Controller
I joined TRIA as Financial Controller and I manage the contract and finance function at TRIA, principally working with David, Lara and Harriet to provide monthly management accounts and other financial information to assist the smooth running of TRIA. On a day to day basis I deal with contract enquiries, raising invoices and processing contractor payments.
At TRIA, I work alongside a very ambitious and highly motivated team, who are friendly, work hard and are successful and I enjoy providing the contract and finance support they need. Outside of TRIA I am a mum to three children who I play taxi to for their sports, drama and dance classes and busy social lives!
Consultant
After 5 years of working across Europe as a ski guide, I decided it was time to return to my home city of Bristol. Now I have joined Tristan's team at Tria and have been feeding off the countless years of experience the company has collectively. I am excited to be a part of such an ambitious group and I am looking forward to us making waves within the industry going forward. It's a very exciting time to be here!
Outside of work my biggest passion is skiing, and I had been working in the Austrian alps for the previous 4 winters. Other locations I had been spending my time was in Northern Italy, France and Norway but I am equally happy in Bristol where I am much closer my family and friends as well as everything the city has to offer.
Senior Consultant
I joined the TRIA team in 2019, however I have been in recruitment for some time, somewhere near the beginning of the millennium and still keep turning up for more! Joining TRIA was a natural choice for me having worked with the Directors in a previous life, here we have a real mix of not your average recruiter with a fun and positive work environment. At TRIA I work within the delivery team, sourcing talent and managing accounts across the IT market for our closest clients.
Outside of work I love to spend time outdoors, cycling is a keen passion and over the years have been on many mountain biking adventures across the UK, European Alps, Himalayas and the American Rockies. Recently rides have been ever so slightly shorter but no less adventurous with my two youngsters in tow.
Consultant
Having joined the TRIA tribe in 2018, I'm definitely one the most recent additions. Before joining the team here in Bristol, I took a short career break to go travelling. Everyone here has welcomed me with open arms, and although swapping my bikini and flip flops for suitable office attire, was at first a very sad time in my life, I am now happier than ever and super excited to forge a long and successful career in recruitment with TRIA.
I love eating tasty food, my puppy dogs, keeping fit, skiing holidays (so the office skiing incentive is particularly exciting), and as an ex-Musical Theatre student, I love anything that involves a dancefloor, music or a spotlight.
Consultant
I joined TRIA straight out of University doing an International Politics and Intelligence Studies degree. I graduated in July and knew I wanted to throw myself straight into the working world so took the jump and moved from outback Wales to Bristol and started working at TRIA. I didn’t know much about recruitment, but when I heard that TRIA revolved themselves around relationship building and care for their candidates and clients, I knew it was something I wanted to be involved in. I like to spend time on the never-ending task of decorating my flat, reading, and taking way too many photos of my cat!! You’ll most likely find me in a burrito shop somewhere, indulging in the delicacy of multiple carbs rather than cooking myself something healthy.
Consultant
I joined Tria recently after a successful 13 year career in IT and Digital recruitment. Tria was the obvious fit for me with their genuine focus on building relationships and having long lasting partnerships with all their clients. This is exactly how I have spent my time in recruitment so far and yet I am still learning new things everyday here at Tria. It’s great to be surrounded by exceptional recruiters from all walks of life that buy into the collaborative approach and relationship focused partnerships and as a cherry on top, Tria’s client list also happens to be pretty impressive as well. I have joined to help expand their client base across the South West, Oxfordshire and M4 corridor and utilise my network of great candidates and clients to help drive Tria forward.
Outside of work I overly obsess about football with a 35 year love affair with Liverpool finally paying off in adult life, did you know we won the league!! It’s our year next year finally came true. I still like to think of myself as a semi-retired triathlete and still moderately active duathlete. The rest of my time is spent managing the busy social lives of a 6 year old boy and 3 year old girl with some time left to enjoy a nice bottle of red whilst watching a wide and sometimes embarrassing range of TV and movies.
Account Manager
I joined Tria in March 2020, after a short but amazing trip to India and just two weeks before the Global pandemic hit. Despite the worldwide turmoil that has followed, I could not have wished to join a more honest, friendly, resilient, and hardworking bunch!
My background is Public Sector. I have 4 years’ experience delivering into digital transformation and EUC programmes of work – which I love. I’m looking forward to leveraging our relationships to grow our public sector client base here at Tria.
Before recruitment, I was a project manager in the public sector in London. Career highlights include working for Martha Lane Fox on a 2-year campaign to promote the benefits of getting online to disadvantaged groups back in 2012. Outside of work, family, friends, travel and escaping to the countryside are important to me.
Consultant
Following five months backpacking around Australia and South East Asia earlier this year, it was time to finally switch out the Havaianas for the brogues and join the working world. I graduated from Bournemouth University last summer where I studied Multimedia Journalism. However, after returning home from my travels I decided to make the move into recruitment. I am excited to be a part a vibrant and determined organisation and to start resourcing some excellent candidates for our fantastic clients. The TRIA clan have welcomed me with open arms and truly made me feel at home in a very short space of time.
Being new to Bristol, you’ll most likely find me in and around the dynamic foodie scene or ticking off beer gardens throughout the city centre. Aside from this I enjoy playing an array of sports, video-editing and exploring the world.
